A Noite: accessible theatre at Sá de Miranda

A Noite by José Saramago is the 150th creation of Teatro do Noroeste – Centro Dramático de Viana, on stage until April 24 at the Main Hall of Teatro Municipal Sá de Miranda, in Viana do Castelo.

The show, directed by Ricardo Simões, integrated in the programming of the celebrations of José Saramago’s centenary, is now in its last week of performances at the emblematic Viana do Castelo theatre.

On April 22, Friday, the Education Service of the company prepares an accessible theatre session for all audiences with Audiodescription and GESTU.

The Audiodescription consists of an additional commentary aimed at the visually impaired (blind and low vision) and that refers to body language, expressions and movements. GESTU – Simultaneous Translation into Portuguese Sign Language aims to guarantee accessibility and inclusion of the Deaf Community to our shows.

A Noite will be on stage Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 7pm, Friday at 9pm, and Sunday at 11pm, in a session with Digestivo – Conversas Pós Espetáculo.

Tickets cost between 4€ and 10€ and can be purchased at BOL – Online Ticket Office and at the Teatro Municipal Sá de Miranda Ticket Office.
