Transborder Amateur Theater Festival returns for 5th Edition in Viana

The 5th edition of the Festival Transborder Amateur Theater – PLATTA, promoted by Teatro do Noroeste – Centro Dramático de Viana, takes place from September 16th to 18th, at Teatro Municipal Sá de Miranda, in Viana do Castelo.

This year, PLATTA Festival opens with Baú dos Malvados (Wicked Men’s Chest) by the Santo Tirso Theatre Company, on September 16th, Friday, at 7pm, at the Experimental Room of the Sá de Miranda Municipal Theatre.

On September 17th, Saturday, at 7pm, it’s the turn of the company Métrica Pura from Castile and Leon to present 5 segundos y 120 kilos, also at the Experimental Room.

On Sunday, September 18, at 12 noon, there will be Staged Readings of The Little Ogre by Suzanne Lebeau, in Castilian, Galician and Portuguese.

The Festival ends at 4 pm, with the performance of Lonxe dos teus Abrazos by Teatro do Ar from Galicia, in the Experimental Room.

All performances have free admission by picking up a ticket at the Teatro Municipal Sá de Miranda Ticket Office.
