DDD – Days of Dance Festival returns to Sá de Miranda

Sá de Miranda Municipal Theatre in Viana do Castelo will once again host DDD – Days of Dance Festival, with the support of Teatro do Noroeste – Centro Dramático de Viana and the Viana do Castelo City Council.

On World Dance Day, April 29th, the show 5, 6, 7, 8 and One by Martim Pedroso and Marlyn Ortiz takes the stage in the Main Hall of the Viana do Castelo Theatre at 9pm.

5, 6, 7, 8 and One is a hybrid between docfilm and docudrama. It is known to revolve around the biography of a Puerto Rican dancer who started dancing in a backyard in the Bronx, who went through the biggest stages and arenas on the planet Earth and who, at a certain point, crossed paths with a Portuguese director and actor in a certain terrace in downtown Lisbon.

At the end of the show, the Educational Service of the Teatro do Noroeste – Centro Dramático de Viana promotes a Digestive – Post-Spectacle Conversation between the audience and the creators/performers.

Ticket prices range from 4€ to 10€ and can be purchased at BOL – Online Ticket Office and at the Teatro Municipal Sá de Miranda Ticket Office.
